Anxiety Talk – Sunday 8th March, 10am
This popular talk sold out when I did it last year, so I’m doing it again.
Anxiety in Dogs is one of the most popular subjects I am asked to help with. It is such a debilitating emotion and it can make dogs behave in all kinds of weird and wonderful ways.
In this talk we’ll talk about how to recognise it, how to react to it and most importantly you’ll learn some strategies to build his confidence and change his behaviour.
We’ll bust some myths, learn about associated behaviours and why they could be preventing you from solving your dogs behavioural problems, and we’ll talk about balancing your dogs mind and body in preparation for rehabilitation.
Each talk will include a short break in the middle and a Q&A session at the end.
This talk sold out last time so early booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Price includes tea and coffee, and a yummy selection of treats – provided by local cakery For Cakes Sake
You are very welcome to take notes and photos, but please don’t bring your dog, as it could make for a very disruptive morning!
Doors open at 10am, with the talk due to start at 10.15am.
More talks coming soon…
The talk will be held at:
The Circle, 4-6 Staffa Place, Dundee, DD2 3SX
I have more than 15 years experience solving all kinds of canine behaviour problems, at home and in rescue. A bad experience with a old fashioned dog trainer inspired me to learn more about dog behaviour, and it is because of him, that I wall never use harsh methods when training and rehabilitating dogs.
I work privately with clients in Dundee and the surrounding area with dogs of all ages, breeds and issues including anxiety, aggression and hyperactivity.
In 2009 I was proud to publish a book about dog behaviour and training. How to be the Perfect Pack Leader (by Caroline Jenkins) remains popular today and a follow up is expected very shortly.
