Spot and Madge

Normally, at Christmas time I send out Christmas cards to all my customers but this year I thought I would do something a little different.  So, I decided to sponsor a dog (or two) instead.  I am sure you will all agree that is a far better way to spend that money - and better for the environment too.

I chose Spot and Madge, they have both been at Dogs Trust for a while now, they share a kennel and are good friends, they are both looking for new homes but need very special families.  You can visit them both at Dogs Trust in Ballymena.

Spot

Spot is 5 years old, before he came to Dogs Trust he lived on a farm where he was not well treated, fortunately a kind lady found him and brought him to Dogs Trust, this has left him very nervous of people he doesn't know.  He is a clever collie that loves to cause mischief!  His favourite thing is running.  He loves his walks - and especially likes exploring but he likes to get back to his cosy bed too.

Spot loves to show off and be the centre of attention and always has a trick up his paw for a yummy treat.

Madge

Madge is 9 years old, she came to Dogs Trust when her owner died, she had just given birth to a litter of pups and was very frightened, her pups all found great homes.  She just loves her food and toys - although she is very anxious of loud noises.  Madge loves her walks and especially loves jumping in big puddles - she must be in her element at the moment with the weather we've been having!

Madge is very nervous, but Spot has helped her and given her a confidence.

Dogs Trust never puts a healthy dog down, thanks to supporters, last year they were able to care for over 16,000 lost and abandoned dogs.
